Audionova is Europe’s leading hearing aid provider. They have various shops in European countries, like Schoonenberg in The Netherlands and Geers in Germany. Besides hearing aids they also sell hearing protection products.

To put more emphasis on the hearing protection range, a separate subsite was created that enabled (new) customers to find out which hearing protection would be most fitting for them, along with an option to have an impression of the demping factor of the various earplugs.
I did the interaction design and based on a that, a visual design.

To highlight the banana button, I used stock photos that subtly flow towards the button, but also look at the visitor.

Homepage

The homepage serves as a landing page with a lead-in and a bold banana button to start the hearing protection guide. To highlight the banana button, I used stock photos that subtly flow towards the button, but also look at the visitor.

Hearing protection finder

The guide consists of a visual questionnaire to narrow down the user’s wishes, demands and relevant situation.

Hearing test page

Hearing test page. Besides narrowing down to a specific set of hearing protection earplugs, the user can also play an audio fragment and simulate the damping factor of the individual earplugs.
